24K Masterclass will teach you the basic fundamentals of recording, mixing, and mastering on Avid Pro Tools. This masterclass incorporates the progressive recording and production skill sets required to succeed in modern high-tech audio recording environments.
This program has been designed to provide you all with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving world of recording, and “in-the-box” workflows. This program will be broken down into five pivotal sections that will prepare you and give you the tools to start recording, mixing, and mastering music productions.

The Master Class program provides 30 hours of integrated theory and real-world studio practicals. You will be attending class 6 hours per day, 5 days out of the month.

Day 1 (Pro Tools 101):· Tools needed for Audio & Music Production · Microphone Placement, levelling, cable management/inputs & outputs · Introduction to Pro Tools | Basic DAW (Digital Audio Workstations) knowledge. (shortcuts, tools, hotkeys) · Setting up a basic recording template and routing proper signal flow and processing

Day 2 (Pro Tools 102):· Setting up your Pro Tools Session · Managing session data and media files · Recording audio using advanced techniques · Mix using sends, returns, plug-ins, Master Faders, and group · Enable, play, view, and edit automation data

Day 3 (Mixing in In-Depth):· Stereo and 5.1 Mixing · Effects · Equalization · Dynamics · Re-Amping · Re-Mixing · Basic Mastering

Day 4 (Revision/ Studio Etiquette):· Tips and Tricks on setting up a recording session with a new artist · Studio maintenance · Improving workflow speeds · Re-cap of days 1,2, and 3
